MyPermits - Online Permitting System
Welcome to The City of Red Deer's online permitting system. Learn how to use MyPermits.
To use this system, you must have a registered MyCity profile. Learn more about MyCity or go directly to register a profile.
If you are a contractor, you must have your City Business Licence registered to your MyCity profile. Need a new Business Licence? Apply online through MyLicence.
Building Permit
A Building Permit is required for many residential and commercial projects, including new builds, renovations, and additions.
Development Permit
A Development Permit is required for many residential and commercial projects to ensure appropriate uses and locations of buildings on sites.
Electrical Permit
If electrical wiring exists and you are replacing existing fixtures an Electrical Permit is not required. For any alterations or new wiring, a permit is required.
Fireplace Installation Permit
You will require a Fireplace Installation Permit for the installation of any gas or solid fuel burning fireplace.
Heating Permit
You will need a Heating Permit for the installation of any HVAC or hydronic heating system.
Plumbing Permit
If plumbing exists and you are replacing fixtures, a Plumbing Permit is not required. For any alterations or new plumbing, a permit is required.
Service Connection
You will need a Service Connection Permit if you are constructing a new building.
