MyDogs does not accept dog license renewals. If you are paying for a dog license renewal, please visit MyPayments to complete the transaction.
Use MyDogs to apply for:
The application process is for anyone who has a dog within the city of Red Deer boundaries. All dogs within the city of Red Deer are required to have a current dog tag. Having a dog license will help protect your dog by providing an easy to identify dog tag. If your dog is lost, their tag will be the fastest way to find them. If your dog is found unlicensed you will be issued a ticket and a penalty will be incurred. Once new applications are successful the dog tag will be mailed to the owner.
The City will send a License Renewal every year when your tag needs to be renewed. Dog license renewals can be paid for online using MyPayments.
A dog license is valid from January 1st to December 31st of each year.
Please notify The City when your contact information has changed or you have moved and need to update your mailing address.
Please note: There is a maximum three dog limit at each property.
MyDogs accepts Visa, MasterCard and Interac Online. Interac Online payments are limited to participating financial institutions. Visit www.interac.ca for more information.
